I really surprise when my Link about Ant Raising is having a lot of responses. I just wondering why there so many responses for (maybe) ridiculous article about Ant Raising...why? yes why? Is this because there's such big curiosity hiding inside every person? Or may be people just likes something new and fun? who knows. I've got this information about Ant Work Set for Ants Raising from my best friend Daniel. He's the one who introduce me how fun it is to raise a colony of ants...sounds freak but this is really fun to watch over a bunch of ants life.

Okay guys I will explain to you how to bring the whole ants colony inside our house, (this article is based on Article in Daniel's Blog , hope he's not mad if I pick his article here hehehe).

Ant Raising Concept (also called ANT WORK) was developed by (maybe???) NASA when conduct a preparation for some regular space project. The basic idea is how to bring an Ant Colony to the space and then the Astronaut(s) will conduct some researches to know about their behavior in the place without gravitation. From that basic idea, comes up an ANT WORK JELLY, which is a pack of full nutrition needed by ants to form a new colony. The dimension of the media is 165 x 140 x 40 mm and have the similar shape to fish aquarium tank. The additional equipments needed for daily activity are magnifying glass and small stick.

How to use ANT WORK :

1. Open the ANT WORK, make two hole each approximately 1 inch depth, and two more hole each approximately 2 inches depth. Those holes will be an initial help for ants to dig their tunnel. Put 20-30 ants inside your ANT WORK, and then close it back. You can freely choose the kind of ants of your choice, depend on your desire for this cool ANT WORKS.
2. Wait at least 24-48 Hours, those ants will begin to dig their tunnel...just watch and enjoy , it really amazing to see their team works, seems like all those ants together have one single brain.
3. The ant worker will life approximately 1-3 months and the dead ants will automatically brought by their fellow to the surface. It is amazing to see how smart they are for dealing with the disease inside the colony. It would be better if you pick up those dead ants with your small stick...it helps them a lot.
4. Although ants do need oxygen, you only have to open the ANT WORKS box for a few seconds within a week. The rest of it, just let them breathe the heavenly air surrounding their food.
   

Things to be Notice :

1. ANT WORK is a solid jelly full of nutrition, THERE'S NO NEED for additional food or water supply.
2. DO NOT MIX different type of ants.
3. DO NOT PUT Ant Work in the place which is directly hit by sunlight.
